FAQ
How are design fees calculated?
Residential work is charged by measured area; commercial by scope. Fees cover plans, material and lighting schemes, full construction drawings and site visits at key stages. Furniture, lighting, construction and third-party consultants are separate.
Can we engage you for styling or concept only?
Yes. Styling can be commissioned on its own from RMB 80,000. Concept-only engagements are also possible if you prefer to confirm the direction before going further.
Do you work outside Shanghai?
Yes. We have completed work in Hangzhou, Suzhou and Nanjing. Remote projects add travel and site supervision costs and rely on a dependable local contractor.
How long from first meeting to moving in?
Typically four to seven months: six to eight weeks of design, four weeks of drawings, three to four months of construction, one to two weeks of styling. Renovations may take one to two months longer.
